Against the background of the successful counteroffensive actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region and the liberation of several settlements, the occupiers and representatives of the occupation authorities are looking for opportunities that will allow them to preserve their fragile position, in particular, they resort to fakes and manipulation.

So the struggle is being waged not only at the front, but also in the information plane. Earlier we talked about how Russian propaganda tries to convince Ukrainian citizens of the advantages of the so-called Russian government and promotes pseudo-referendums.

In view of the various turbulent events for the Russian proteges (liberation of settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, activities of the Russian Volunteer Corps in the Belgorod region, mutiny of the Wagner PMC, etc.), we decided to devote this material to analyzing samples of printed and digital propaganda that is spreading in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region. Did these sources cover the above events? What new lie do they use to support their narratives? We will look for answers to these questions in information messages from Melitopol and Berdіansk.
