In the newly occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia region, all men under the age of 50 who have received a Russian passport are forced to register with the occupation military commissars. Fines of up to 30,000 rubles are threatened for non-appearance. And all male residents are lured by hook or by crook into military service under a contract in units of the Russian Ministry of Defense and so-called volunteer battalions.

At the same time, the Russians assured the residents through ‘gauleiters’ that there are no plans to mobilize on new TOTs in the near future.
